We buy insurance auction boats, fix what matters, and sell with full transparency. No dealer markup. No mystery history. Just solid boats at honest prices.
Current Listings
Every boat listed here has been personally inspected. Damage is documented and disclosed — no surprises at the ramp.
The Process
The salvage auction market has a massive information gap. We close it — so buyers get real value, not a gamble.
We buy from insurance auctions — boats with hail damage, cosmetic issues, or mechanical problems. Sometimes structural components that need full replacement. Whatever the damage, it's documented and disclosed, not buried.
Hull, motor, trailer, interior. We fix what affects function and safety. Cosmetic scars that don't matter to a lake boat stay documented, not disguised.
We're not dealers padding margin. Salvage buy-in is lower, and we pass that through. You pay for a working boat — not a showroom story.
Damage history, what was repaired, what wasn't, photos from the lot. You get the same info we used to decide to buy it.
Who We Are
ReFloat Boats is a small, locally owned and run operation out of central Minnesota. Like most Minnesotans, I grew up outdoors and on the water — it's what I love, it's what I do.
Also like a lot of people, I love a deal. That was the inspiration for the core of the business: finding damaged boats with great bones, fixing what needs to be fixed, and passing the savings on so more people can get out on the water.
Coming Soon
Remote bidding on salvage boats is a gamble. Generic auto inspectors miss everything that matters — hull seam integrity, transom rot, lower unit corrosion, pontoon log condition. We're building a dedicated marine inspection service for auction lot buyers.
You're bidding from Texas on a Fargo lot. We're already there. We'll sell you the same report we used to make our own bidding decision — nothing withheld.
